WOO!! Told you the last night of FOP will end with a BLAST!!! I thought i'll be able to see mosh pits... hahah... but that would have been too high already....I'm so excited that Hillsongs are playing songs from their latest album, and the best part was when both drummers from Hillsongs and Parachute Band were synchronising, playing together.. i means its just crazy lah... both their skills and techniques just complements.. i've never seen such amazing team work.. What can go wrong when the presence of God is in the house yo!
at the end of the day i din want them to leave...(i'm just wondering if they're gonna put the whole event on DVD... ) and i really wanted to talk about them all night and just as i thought i'll be going home alone.. I saw this talkative person from choir... He outshone me in the talking part and i finally got his name right :P
Yesterday i really went to FOP with really high expectations and i wasn't disappointed...
pastor Mark Conner started preaching. He said that we should not put our emphasise on the things of the world, always wanting to gets more entertainment, possessions and prestige BUT cherish things of eternal value, and that is to Know God, to Love His people, putting our time, talents and resources in serving God and His people. During which he mentioned something that i took for granted and that is we treat people on the value we place on them. I must admit that i'm guilty of that and it affects the way i treat each individual... Jesus places a 10/10 on everyone, regardless of the value others put on Him.
The ultimate act of worship is obedience. God i know You're watching, i know You're listening.... and i'll obey Your ways... I can't control the people around me, i can't control the things that are happening... but i can control myself, my attitude, my respond to people. honestly, i have the tendency to just ignore the situation if it gets too tacky.. I'll try to change.... :D <-- my last attempt of stubborn resistance....
oh well... LET THE EARTH RESOUND WITH PRAISE/ FOR OUR SAVIOUR GOD HE REIGNS/ HE IS HIGH AND LIFTED UP /ARISE/ FOR THE KING OF GLORY WAITS/ HE IS COMING BACK AGAIN....
